About Samsara
How Samsara startedIn 2019, life took a turn for me and I found myself without my own home and very few possessions. Thanks to my parents, I had the opportunity to rebuild for the next two years. As I gathered resources and sorted out the new direction life had taken me, I began collecting beaten up pieces of furniture to furnish my future home. After restoring and giving new life to several pieces for myself, I realized how much joy it brought me. That's when I turned to selling a few pieces online. After selling my first piece, I was hooked and I knew I needed to start a business. Thus Samsara Redesigns was born.

Why the name Samsara?
As I wrapped my head around what I would call my business, I knew I wanted two things to go with it. I wanted something to do with rebirth. I wanted the business name to reflect taking old furniture and giving it new life. (Which just happened to be symbolic of my own life journey at the time.) In addition, I wanted some involvement of my name. My first name being Sarah, when I stumbled upon the buddhist term samsara meaning rebirth, I knew it was a perfect fit. Samsara Redesigns was officially created.
